What is the best time to enroll in Medicare?
Enroll during your Initial Enrollment Period, which starts three months before your 65th birthday.
Can I switch from Original Medicare to a Medicare Advantage Plan?
Yes, you can switch during the Annual Election Period from October 15 to December 7 each year, or if you're already in a Medicare Advantage Plan, during the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period from January 1 to March 31.
Are prescription drugs covered under Original Medicare?
What are the differences between Medicare Supplement Plans and Medicare Advantage Plans?
Medicare Supplement Plans, or Medigap, help cover costs not included in Original Medicare, while Medicare Advantage Plans offer additional benefits like dental and vision coverage.
Do I automatically get enrolled in Medicare when I turn 65?
If you are receiving Social Security benefits, you will be automatically enrolled in Medicare parts A and B when you turn 65. However, if you are not receiving Social Security benefits, you need to sign up manually during your Initial Enrollment Period.
Can I enroll in a Medicare plan if I have pre-existing conditions?
